Celebration of National Reading Day, Reading week and Reading Month 2021
The P N Panicker Foundation and P N Panicker Vigyan Vikas Kendra have been observing the Reading Day, Reading Week, and Reading Month Celebrations since 19th June, 1996, the first annual remembrance day of Shri P N Panicker, the father of Library and Literacy Movement in Kerala.
Started as a Reading Day Celebration on 19th June, 1996, by the Govt. of Kerala along with P.N. Panicker Foundation it has become a mass movement to promote to culture of reading so as to inculcate the habit of reading and promote book mindedness among school children, youth as well as the underprivileged population of the country. On 19th June 2017, Hon’ble Prime Minister launched the 22ndNational Reading Month Celebrations and gave a clarion call to propagate the message of ‘Read and Grow’ among all the citizens of the country by 2022 when the country celebrate its 75th year of independence.
This year our school is also going to celebrate the reading day and Reading week with different activities. For the school students following activities are conducted through what's App and using Library Blog:
CELEBRATION OF 7th YOGA DAY
The world is gearing up to observe the 7th International Day of Yoga (IDY2021) on 21st June 2021, amidst a global pandemic that has forced everyone to stay indoors.To bring the people together globally while inside their homes, and spread the message of traditional Yoga far and wide, for the betterment of both physical and mental health, the Ministry of Ayush is launching the “Be With Yoga, Be At Home” video campaign.

KV Sukma is going to celebrate the 158th Birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda as National Youth Day under the flag of Bharat Scout and Guide starting from 5th January to 11 January. You have to participate in all 7 activities as in the activities pack.

birthday of scouts and guides founder Lord Robert Baden Powell and of Lady Olave
